Refund policy

We are the leading specialist dealer for digital and analog photo and video technology, with seven locations in Germany and 10 branches worldwide.

You have the right to cancel this contract within thirty days without giving reasons.

The cancellation period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took or has taken possession of the last goods.

cameras which have over 250 releases are excluded from a return.
Storage media and hard disks are excluded from return.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (Calumet Photographic GmbH, Bahrenfelder Straße 260, 22765 Hamburg, Tel: 040-4231 600, Fax: 040-4203 839, E-Mail: mail@calumetphoto.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter, fax or e-mail sent by post) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached Sample revocation form which is not mandatory.

In order to comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification about the exercise of the right of revocation before the end of the revocation period.

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke this Agreement, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within 30 days from the day on which we receive notification of your revocation of this Agreement. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged for this refund.
>br />We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
br />You must return or hand over the goods to us (Calumet Photographic GmbH, Bahrenfelder Straße 260, 22765 Hamburg, Germany) immediately and in any case no later than 30 days from the day you notify us of the cancellation of this agreement. The time limit is deemed to have been observed if you send the goods before the expiry of the 30-day period.

We shall bear the costs of returning goods ordered and delivered within Germany which, due to their nature, can normally be returned by post; in the case of forwarding deliveries within and outside Germany of goods ordered and delivered by a forwarding agent, you shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The costs for this are estimated to be a maximum of approximately € 500,- from within Germany and € 1.500,- from abroad.
For the return of goods ordered and delivered outside of Germany, which due to their nature can be returned normally by mail, you will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You will only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

Customers from Germany can have a return label sent directly via the DHL returns portal.
To do this, click on the corresponding link below and enter the order number*, your e-mail address and your postal address in a form. After you have clicked on "Send e-mail", you will receive an e-mail with further information and a completed returns label as a PDF file attached. You now only need to print this out to attach it to your return package.

* You will find your order number on your invoice under "Your reference".

Please include a copy of your invoice with your return shipment.
