Refund policy
Consumers are entitled to the following right of withdrawal:
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Calumet Photo Video GmbH, Friesenweg 12, 22763 Hamburg, Tel: 040 423 160 86 38, Email: kundenservice@calumet.de, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of withdrawing from purchase contracts
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from a non-standard shipping method chosen by you), without delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. The refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for this refund.
We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You are obliged to return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. We will bear the costs of returning goods that can be sent by parcel post within Germany. The costs for returns that cannot be sent by parcel post, in particular bulky goods, shall be borne by you. For returns from abroad, you must bear the full cost of the return shipment yourself.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling that was not necessary for testing the condition, properties, and functionality of the goods.
Note on the revocation of purchase contracts
The goods should be provided in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components, if possible. If the original packaging is no longer available, please use protective outer packaging to ensure adequate protection against any transport damage. Damage and contamination of the item to be returned should be avoided. At the same time, we would like to point out that the right of withdrawal and its consequences naturally exist regardless of whether this note is observed; it merely serves to facilitate the processing of the return.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal from purchase contracts
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the delivery of goods if, due to their nature, they have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery, in the case of contracts for the delivery of computer software, audio or video recordings in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed after delivery, and for contracts for the delivery of software license keys that have been transmitted by mail or electronic communication (e.g., email).
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
